Choose a growth channel

Match distribution to your audience, skills, budget, and evidence.

The best channel is the one that repeatedly reaches people with the problem your app solves. Start with one or two channels you can operate well, then expand after the economics and creative process are understood.

1. Product-led organic content

Demonstrations, tutorials, progress stories, and before-and-after posts are inexpensive to test and teach you which language earns attention. They require consistent production and can fluctuate sharply from post to post.

2. Founder-led content

Explain the problem, show decisions, respond to feedback, and document real customer outcomes. This builds trust and produces direct qualitative learning, but depends on the founder’s willingness to publish regularly.

3. Creator partnerships

Pay established creators to place the app inside formats their audience already values. Prioritize audience fit and retained conversions over followers or isolated viral posts.

4. Dedicated user-generated creative

Commission creators to produce a steady library of original assets for brand accounts and ads. Begin with a small test group, find a repeatable concept, then expand production.

5. Paid acquisition

Paid social and search can provide controllable volume once a message and conversion path work organically. Set a test budget, attribution method, stopping rule, and target customer economics before launch.

6. Communities and useful participation

Answer questions, share expertise, and invite relevant people to a beta where communities already discuss the problem. Follow each community’s promotion rules and avoid disguised advertising or coordinated manipulation.

7. Product and distribution partnerships

Work with coaches, schools, clubs, publishers, employers, or complementary products that already serve the audience. Define the shared value, ownership of the customer relationship, support duties, attribution, and commercial terms before integrating.
