You can build and test before joining, but publishing to the App Store requires an active Apple Developer Program membership. Create it early: identity or organization checks can take time.

## Choose individual or organization

### Individual

Best for a solo developer or sole proprietor. Your verified personal legal name is shown as the seller on the App Store.

### Organization

Best when a registered legal entity should appear as the seller. Apple verifies the entity and that the enrollee has authority to bind it.

The membership type affects the public seller name. Do not enroll as an individual if the company name must appear on the product page.

## Prepare before enrolling

-   An Apple Account with two-factor authentication enabled.
-   Accurate legal name, address, phone number, and trusted devices.
-   A government-issued photo ID when Apple requests identity verification.
-   For an organization, its legal entity details and an authorized representative.
-   A payment method for the annual membership fee shown in your region.

### 1. Start enrollment

Enroll through the Apple Developer website or the Apple Developer app. Use the Apple Account that should control publishing for the long term.

### 2. Verify the identity

Enter legal information exactly as it appears on official records and complete any identity or organization verification Apple requests.

### 3. Accept agreements and pay

Accept the current program agreement and complete the membership purchase. Enrollment is ready only after Apple confirms the membership is active.

### 4. Connect the account in Superapp

Open **Publish**, sign in with Apple, complete verification, and select the team that should own the app. Keep the Account Holder available when Apple requires a new agreement.

## Avoid account problems

-   Do not share Apple Account passwords between teammates.
-   Keep trusted phone numbers and recovery information current.
-   Accept new Apple agreements before attempting another submission.
-   Renew the membership before it expires.
-   Confirm the selected team before Superapp creates the app record.
